WebYou might experience delayed side effects, such as muscle aches, chills, fever, or tiredness, that can occur 1 to 2 days after your injection. These symptoms will generally go away after 3 to 4 days. Let your provider know if any side effects are concerning or won't go away. Although rare, Infed (iron dextran) can raise the risk of cancer.
